Exactly what advertising technique will assist you get a loyal audience that holds on to your every word and purchases everything you need to provide?

In some cases it seems like no matter what advertising technique you attempt to market and get your company going, you can't seem to really connect with your audience and make a sale.

Maybe you've been working to build a company for some time now.

Maybe you did this to assist get even more cash to offer your household.

Maybe you wish to take a trip the world more (this would be me, by the way).

Maybe there is something that you feel you were put on this earth to do, a real calling that you wish to concentrate on ...

But for some reason, no matter what advertising technique you attempt, no matter the number of individuals you speak with, no matter what you state, you simply can't appear to make a genuine connection with your audience so that they make the choice to take action and purchase from you.

So what the hell is going on here? Exactly what needs to alter in your advertising technique?

The real issue is that you might be speaking with either not a concentrated enough of an audience, or you're attempting to speak with an audience that you really have absolutely nothing in common with.

I've attempted this advertising technique prior to, and it sucked.

As a massage therapist and prior U.S. Army soldier, I attempted at one point to cold call real estate agents to obtain them to view a presentation and sign up with business I was in at the time. I would rather drink a gallon of paint thinner than do that again.

I was not a real estate agent, and it was obvious no matter what script I used or terminology of theirs I used. Not only did I seem like a fraud, I also felt like one.

So exactly what advertising technique can we use to really determine our target market, so we can craft a message that talks straight to them?

Simple: Start with YOU!

One time I had a coach by the name of Tony Rush inform me "You do not attract who you desire; you attract who you are.".

This message was initially stated from an individual development standpoint (definition if you are a negative individual, you'll attract negative individuals, and so on).

However, this message can actually be read in another way: we also attract individuals who also talk our language (so to speak) and enjoy exactly what WE 'RE into also: our pastimes, our interests, related previous experiences, and so on.

So now the genuine concern that you really need to ask when discovering your target market is this:.

Who Are You?

There are over 7 billion individuals in this world. As special as all of us are, chances are if you have something you such as, then chances exist are more than enough individuals you can speak with who enjoy the exact same things.

So if you wish to find out who your genuine target market is, begin with asking about who you are and exactly what defines you.

Think about every meaning YOU have about yourself that can put on other individuals. Jot down 20-50 meanings you have about yourself (BE SPECIFIC!).

For instance:.

Where you're from.
Exactly what you do with your time.
Jobs you had in the past (and have now).
Dreams you had in the past that you let go of.
Things that you work for.
Things that you do in your extra time.
Exactly what you have actually been trained to do.
Exactly what you had problem with before.
Anything that makes you express "I am X" or "I do Y with my time".

Know Yourself, Know Your Audience.
